MILWAUKEE -- Jarrod Saltalamacchia has overcome his throwing issues at Triple-A Oklahoma City, but the Rangers aren't ready to bring him back to the Major Leagues.

General manager Jon Daniels said that has more to do with Matt Treanor and Max Ramirez than it does with Saltalamacchia. Daniels said the Rangers are happy with the job both are doing and are not ready to make any changes right now.

Saltalamacchia, who was the Rangers' Opening Day catcher, is an option if there is an injury, but the Rangers are keeping him at Oklahoma City.

"Right now, we're pleased with the two guys we've got," Daniels said. "The team is playing well. It's less about Jarrod and more about the job Max and Matt are doing. That's not a knock on Jarrod at all. He's fine, healthwise. As far as his throwing, he has made major strides."
