Rangers at the plate: David Dellucci hit an RBI triple and scored on Kevin Mench's single in the fourth. Dellucci also hit a single.

Cubs at the plate: Aramis Ramirez had two hits, and Ronny Cedeno, who was hitting .194 entering the game, hit a double.

Rangers on the mound: Starter Adam Eaton had to leave the game after taking a line drive off his right forearm. Marquis Grissom led off the Cubs second with a liner that struck Eaton.

Cubs on the mound: Starter Carlos Zambrano struck out the side in the first, and gave up two runs on four hits over five innings. He struck out seven overall. Scott Williamson struck out the side in one inning of work. The right-hander has now pitched three scoreless innings in his last three outings.

Cactus League records: Rangers 8-8; Cubs 8-8

Up next: The Cubs make their last trip to Tucson to play the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Angel Guzman is scheduled to pitch against Orlando Hernandez. The Rangers play host to the Angels in Surprise. John Wasdin is slated to start for Texas against Jeff Weaver.
