Bloomquist singled off Ryan Tucker to start the rally, and stole second before being driven home by Roberts' liner to center.
It didn't take long for the Rangers to get on the board, as Ian Kinsler led off the game with a home run to left field. It was the fourth straight game in which Kinsler has homered this spring.
"It was a nice swing he put on that ball," said Rangers manager Ron Washington. "In BP the ball wasn't going anywhere. He smoked that one pretty good. A line drive going 385 feet. He got through it very well."
The D-backs answered in the bottom half of the inning when Kelly Johnson led off with a walk, stole second and came around to score on Stephen Drew's double down the right-field line.
Mitch Moreland gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead when he led off the third with a home run that landed halfway up the batter's eye in center.

Arizona tied things up in the bottom of the third when Chris Young doubled with one out, moved to third on a single by Justin Upton, and scored on Drew's sacrifice fly.
Both starting pitchers went three innings, with Texas' Colby Lewis allowing two runs on four hits and Arizona's Barry Enright giving up two runs on three hits.
Michael Kirkman, who is battling for a spot in the Texas rotation, tossed three scoreless innings in relief of Lewis.
"His breaking ball was pretty good today," said Washington. "He was able to spot his fastball and keep it down, so he did a good job."
D-backs: The D-backs travel to Tempe Diablo Stadium on Sunday to take on the Angels. Left-hander Joe Saunders will make his first appearance against his former mates since being traded to Arizona last July in the deal that sent Dan Haren to Los Angeles. Saunders, who was originally drafted by the Angels, spent 5 1/2 seasons with them.
Rangers: The Rangers host the Brewers on Sunday, with left-hander Matt Harrison making his second start of the spring after allowing a run over two innings in his debut against the Mariners on Tuesday. It's another important test for Harrison, who is battling fellow left-handers Derek Holland and Michael Kirkman for a spot in the rotation. Relievers Mark Lowe, Yoshinori Tateyama, Seth McClung, Yhency Brazoban, Zach Phillips and Cody Eppley are also scheduled to pitch.
