Hamilton exits game with jammed right heel
SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton left Wednesday's game against the Rockies with a jammed right heel.

The injury is not considered serious.

Hamilton jammed the heel chasing down Todd Helton's double into the left-field corner in the second inning. Hamilton left the game as a precautionary measure and went into the training room to ice it. He was replaced by Leonys Martin.

"He just said his heel felt sore so we removed him," manager Ron Washington said. "We'll just see how he is tomorrow. If they feel he's fine, he'll be back out there. If they feel he needs another day, we'll give him another day."

Hamilton had just one at-bat and flied out to deep left-center. He is now 3-for-19 on the spring.
