Young exits, expected back Sunday

|
BALTIMORE -- Rangers shortstop Michael Young left Saturday's game with the Orioles in the bottom of the fourth after aggravating the ring finger on his right hand.

Young is expected to be back in the Rangers' starting lineup on Sunday. He has been playing with a small fracture in his finger for the past two weeks and aggravated it when he hit a ball off the end of the bat while grounding out in the third inning.

"I'm fine," Young said. "I'll be in there tomorrow. Every time I hit the ball off the bat, it stiffens up on me, and this one was pretty good. I just couldn't regain my range of motion."

Young originally injured the finger diving back into first base against the Mariners on July 28 and has just eight hits in his past 39 at-bats.
