ARLINGTON -- Rangers' left-hander Matt Harrison came out of his last start on Saturday against the Angels with lower back pain and hasn't been back on the field for the last two days while undergoing treatment.

Harrison is still scheduled to make his next start in Seattle on Thursday. If he isn't able to go, the Rangers aren't sure which direction they will go, and options are limited.

"We're not very deep right now," general manager Jon Daniels admitted. "We could use Derek Lowe out of the bullpen and Justin Grimm [at Round Rock] is on the [40-man] roster."

Harrison has started the season 0-2 with an 8.44 ERA for 10 2/3 innings, losing to both the Astros and Angels.
