Professional golfer Shawn Stefani is currently in his rookie year on the PGA Tour. He is not only a good golfer, but also a big fan of baseball. So why not have MLB represented on the golf course?
Stefani had the chance to come by Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for batting practice while he is in town for the next two weeks playing on the PGA Tour. Stefani played catcher as a kid and is a longtime fan of his hometown team, the Houston Astros. While at the park, Stefani had the chance to meet one of his all-time favorites, Nolan Ryan, along with many Tigers and Rangers players.
MLB.com has partnered with Stefani to help grow his fan base as he makes his way up the ranks in his first year on the Tour. You can follow him on Twitter at @ShawnStefani1 and show your support for the newest member of the MLB family.
