Farragut promoted to senior VP, ticket sales and service

ARLINGTON -- Paige Farragut, who has overseen the Rangers' record-breaking attendance numbers the past few years, has been promoted to senior vice president, ticket sales and service.

Farragut is responsible for the sale of season, group and individual tickets as well as long-term and nightly suite rentals at the Ballpark in Arlington.

"We are pleased to announce this well-deserved promotion for Paige Farragut," Rangers executive vice president Rob Matwick said. "The Rangers have established record attendance numbers over the last several seasons due to the efforts of Paige and her very diligent and hard-working staff."

Over the last two seasons, the Rangers have averaged 40,727 fans per home game, fourth best in the Major Leagues and second to the Yankees among American League clubs. The Rangers set a franchise record by drawing 3,460,280 fans in 2012 and followed that with the second-best mark at 3,178,273 this past season.

Farragut has been with the Rangers' ticket and suite sales operations since 1999 and most recently served as vice president, ticket sales and service. Prior to that, she worked for the Dallas Stars as a season ticket account executive. Farragut is a graduate of Texas State University.
