Update on Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish

|

Arlington, Texas -- Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish had a follow-up appointment with Rangers Spine Consultant Dr. Drew Dossett as well as an MRI this week in Dallas. The MRI and exam indicated that the inflammation from the nerve irritation in Darvish's lower back has subsided. Darvish will continue with a core conditioning program to strengthen his back and should be able to participate in his off-season throwing program without any issues.

He will work out in Texas for a few more days before returning to Japan.
