Rangers 2014 Winter Caravan to make final stops in Lubbock and Wichita Falls


The 2014 Texas Rangers Winter Caravan will make its final two stops in Lubbock and Wichita Falls over the next week.

Pitcher Tanner Scheppers and Rangers television broadcaster Emily Jones, a native of the Lubbock area, will be appearing at the National College Baseball Hall of Fame's First Pitch Luncheon this Friday, January 31 at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Banquet Hall at 11:45 a.m. Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased at collegebaseballhall.org. 

The Winter Caravan, which is presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, makes its final stop in Wichita Falls on Tuesday, February 4 with a Free Autograph Signing at Academy Sports + Outdoors, 3201 Lawrence Road, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Pitcher Tanner Scheppers, outfielder Michael Choice, and Rangers Hall of Fame outfielder Rusty Greer will be taking part in that appearance. 

All Rangers Academy Sports + Outdoors appearances are open free of charge to the public. The schedule of participants is subject to change, and the number of autographs to be signed will be limited depending on location. Please visit www.academy.com or texasrangers.com for complete details.
