SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Single-game tickets went on sale Saturday on texasrangers.com
and at the Rangers Ballpark ticket offices. Opening Day went fast.
Before the Rangers' ticket office shut down at 4 p.m. CT, over 92,000 tickets had been purchased, an increase of more than three percent from first-day sales in 2009.
The only tickets remaining for Texas' home opener on April 5 are standing room and obstructed view. These can be purchased only in person at the Rangers Ballpark First Base Ticket Office, which is open Saturday until 4 p.m. CT and on Sunday from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m.
The Rangers open the season at 1:05 p.m. Monday, April 5, against the Blue Jays. Texas' first homestand consists of three games with Toronto and three against the Seattle Mariners on April 9-11.
