HOUSTON -- Texas manager Ron Washington won a manager's challenge in the top of the second inning on Saturday at Houston.

Washington was challenging a play at first base. First-base umpire Dana DeMuth ruled Leonys Martin out at first base, completing a 4-6-3 double play to end the inning. J.P. Arencibia was out at second base on the play.

The ruling was overturned. The runner was safe at first base, extending the inning. Martin was ruled safe at first base on a fielder's choice.

Houston starter Scott Feldman retired the next batter, Geovany, Soto on a ground out to short for the third out, stranding Martin.
