"We'll see how long it takes," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "If the doctor gives him clearance, he'll still be able to get a start. If not, he's going to have to adjust. But we'll just go day to day and see."
Holland's first rehab start came July 30 in Frisco, when the 30-day period allowed for pitchers rehabbing in the Minors began. That period ends Aug. 28, although the Rangers could also call him up when the big league roster expands to 40 players Sept. 1.
