ARLINGTON -- Rangers manager Ron Washington said Wednesday that the Rangers are far along in the process of deciding what move to make when second baseman Ian Kinsler comes off the disabled list, probably Friday in Seattle. Kinsler was to play in his final rehab game on Wednesday night for Double-A Frisco.
"We know what our options are," Washington said.
They will drop an infielder, either Joaquin Arias or Andres Blanco. Or they could keep both and make a move with Ryan Garko.
Washington said Arias' back is feeling better, which is why he was back in the lineup on Wednesday.
"I didn't want to put him out there if he can't finish what he started," Washington said.
